In this one day Priene, Miletus, Didyma Day Tour you will visit the three important Greek cities of Ionia.

Priene is famous for its high-quality Hellenistic art and architecture. While you explore this incredible site you'll also visit the Temple of Athena and Bouleuterion. Miletus is another stop. The site is scattered with ancient ruins, but the Greco-Roman theatre and its adjoining Byzantine castle are the most visible of the site’s ruins. Your last stop of the day will be Didyma and the temple of Apollo and Artemis.

A powerful city somewhat competitor to Ephesus but surpassed in grandeur it has an impressive theater and the remains of many historically noteworthy events.

Didyma

If you've seen movies that demonstrate what a Greek or Roman Oracle was like then this site is a must see - still largely intact- it was a place where people came to hear from the gods. A mix of animal sacrifice, hallucination and likely even more illicit activities ensure the seekers left with a buzz.

Itinerary

Day 1

You will be picked up from your Kusadasi hotel or cruise port by private driver and guide and will spend the morning exploring the ancient city of Priene.
Your second stop will be in Miletus.
On your way to Didyma, you will stop for lunch.
Your last visit before returning to your hotel or port will be Didyma with its famous Apollo Temple and Artemis Temple.
